1999 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL 500

A beautiful example of a very well maintained 1999 SL-500. From the mechanics to the exterior and the interior as well as electrical, and music it is in perfect operating and top-notch appearing as you can see by the pictures. The auto-check shows its history with 3 prior owners with a score of 67 with the low being 42 and the high being 65. I have owned it since February of 2018. Has with it a clear title. Even though the 1st owner had it in NY for less than 2 years before it relocated to the west coast for its years thereafter, the undercarriage is flawless. With less than 70,000 original miles and no accidents, it has been maintained by myself and prior owners through consistent maintenance rather than requiring any major requirement. This keeps costs in line and provides for a much better overall ride. Mechanical - (during my ownership) Recently tuned up, oil/filter change, radiator flush, transmission review (works perfectly), motor mounts, front and rear brakes, valve cover gasket, new battery, along with other ongoing maintenance. I have all receipts for all work done. Soft Top - recently had the pumps replaced and the soft top operates to perfection. As you will also see from the pictures the soft top is also in perfect condition including the rear window. I have had both door windows and the hardtop windows dark tinted. The hardtop is perfect. Electrically - everything works as expected from the seats, mirrors, lights, blinkers, wiper, AC blows cold / Heat, etc.. no issues!! *The antenna does not go up or down. Exterior - You can see by the pictures that the paint, bumpers, etc... show and have no blemishes. Interior - Shows minor blemishes, again as the pictures will show, overall the interior needs nothing to be done to it. Wheels / Tires - Replaced the wheels and the tires when I purchased the car with brand new XIX wheels - with Ventus tires with the rears (275/30's/ ZR 20's) and the fronts (245/35/ZR '20s. At least 85% tread remaining on all four tires. There is zero curbs rashing on any wheel and as you can see by the pictures it blows away the overall appearance and amazing handling. Misc - I have added Sirius-XM (see the picture) and it produces way better sound than an antenna driven FM. There is a 6 change cd player located in the trunk and it works just as it is expected. I have found that in my time as an owner that it gets on down the road with plenty of power and speed. It corners amazingly well and the looks and compliments I receive are all where this SL has it all together!! The new owner will enjoy it for years to come!
